I’m interviewing Edward DeBoy (Director/Write) and Neil London (Producer) about their Indiegogo project, Silent Hill Prelude, tomorrow afternoon. If you have any questions leave a comment below and I will ask it on the podcast!

  1. Paul says:

Since Silent Hill is stunningly beautiful with its Innsmouth-style of fog and moisture texture, will you render the film (if post-production isn’t already completed) with a more “amateur/gritty” texture, or will the film break from tradition, and although be visually appealing, have a feel that centers more around character rather than franchise norms?

  2. Jade says:

Hi guys, would you consider helping wipe Silent Hill Revelations film off the earth and have the chance to redo it yourselves? I loved the first Silent Hill film and was very disappointed by the second, so I’m hoping to pretend this is sequel instead 🙂 I look forward to seeing more of your project.

Hi Jade thanks for the question unfortunately the podcast was recorded on the 30th so it won’t be answered on the podcast. I’ll tell them to answer in the comments!

  4. Neil London says:

    Hey Jade,

I don’t know if we would “redo” Revelations. That movie was trying way to hard to be Silent Hill 3, but then ever decision it made was just terrible. If it were my choice I would have done the story of Christopher looking for Rose and Sharon in Silent Hill for the sequel. Played more on Silent hill 2. The only trouble is Chris didn’t kill Rose so it almost defeats the purpose. But I would have gone that direction instead. It would makes more sense to have Pyramid Head in it too.

  5. Edward DeBoy says:

Hey guys! So sorry we missed your questions before the recording. We try to stay very active on our facebook page as well so feel free to hit us on there too.

Paul – The climax of the film is actually when the town “Goes Dark” for the first time at Alchemilla Hospital. It’s a dark scene so that one might have a bit more gritty look to it? Perhaps? And the ending with the fog as Harry crashes his car will be more fog than anything else.

Overall we are giving this the Hollywood treatment with the Independent Film style to it. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for listening and we hope you get a chance to check out the website and our Indiegogo page!
