I went through the latest Downpour Trailer and saw some very interesting little bits!

We see Murphy travels on boat near the beginning of the trailer. I assume this is lake Toluca does this mean there’s a chance we might see glimpses of past areas? Also there’s a woman’s voice talking to Murphy about revenge I’m thinking it’s the nun we saw a glimpse of in the E3 2011 trailer.

Mysterious Wheelchair guy (0:38), is he/she it an enemy or an ally of some kind? Did Murphy seem them earlier in the window of the home he met Howard in front of? (1:00) Hmmmmm

A pissed off Anne seems to catch up with Murphy after her fall from the cliff and puts a gun to his head (1:14). How did she survive? Will she be like Maria in Silent Hill 2 and constantly defy death?

At (1:28) the little boy Murphy viewed through a barred door window in one of the earlier screenshots is approached by what seems to be the Sledghammer guy much to Murphy’s distress.

At (1:32) we see a little girl run down a hallway, is she the girl in the red dress seen pushing Murphy in the E3 2010 trailer?

Geeze Anne can’t catch a break can she?! At (1:34) she’s being attacked by a Screamer, I hope she doesn’t die…. uh again?

At (1:43) Murphy is seen talking to a prison guard with black gloves while another calls for him. Is Murphy a prison snitch? Or is something more sinister going on between the two? In the E3 2011 trailer the guys did say he was “sorry to see him go” The guard is wearing black gloves may also be seen (1:37) knocking the prison bars with a billy club and (1:39) clubbing someone in the showers (maybe Murphy). I’m getting the feeling that they don’t have a healthy relationship and maybe Murphy’s water trauma stems a little from this guy’s treatment. Though I could be wrong, maybe all the guards wear the black gloves?

At (1:58) Anne isn’t the only surviving guards Murphy pushes past two more, but it’s in black and white is this from the past?

Hey at (2:00) it’s the guy from the PAL game cover!

Hmm at (3:38) there seems to be a prison riot/break out occurring. It’s in black and white so I assume it happened in the past and two inmates from the prison bus are attacking gaurds slumped to the ground. This may be the reason the lot was being transferred to another prison.

(2:12) Murphy drops from the large clocktower..ow.

(2:54) Sledgehammer dude, is he Downpour’s main antagonist? Well he’s strong (2:58)

Nooo the radio station is swarmed by Screamers I hope Sazh Katzroy is okay! ( 3:08)

(3:11) Is that the nun behind the Sledgehammer dude? Does she work with him, control him or just a bystander?

So yes lots of cool new bits to think about…Was Murphy being harassed by the guard in the black gloves? Was he a prison snitch? Who’s the Sledgehammer guy? Why is he with the nun or the little boy? WHY DOES ANNE KEEP GETTING/HURT DYING? I can’t wait to play! 🙂

What’s with this picture in Murphy’s cell?? It looks like Murphy is holding a baby? There’s also a child’s drawing is Murphy a dad? Maybe the kids we see are his?
