Silent Hill Downpour Xbox 360 Patch is Out!

So apparently the Downpour Patch for Xbox 360 is out! Rourke from Rely on Horror stumbled upon it this morning when loading a saved game. I don’t have a press release at this time so I don’t know exactly what the patch fixes. What I do know is that it’s supposed to fix the game’s stuttering, saving, and other side quest glitches. Once I have more information I will update this post 🙂

This doesn’t sound good, is anyone else have these sorts of problems after downloading the patch?

& Silent Hill: Downpour Coming to Games on Demand
Today, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced a patch and product update for Silent Hill: Downpour, the critically acclaimed survival horror title, originally released in March. The online patch, available via XBOX Live, enhances the gameplay experience by improving features and bugs within the game, including, but not limited to:
o Improved frame rate
o Fixed save game system
o Fixed bugs in “Homeless” side quest/mission
o Several other performance enhancements/bug fixes
A PlayStation 3 patch is currently in development and will be released in the coming weeks.
KONAMI also announced today that Silent Hill: Downpour is going to be available for download, via XBOX Live Games on Demand, beginning on October 30 for $39.99.
That’s an old glitch. Still not fixed. Saw it when Gameinformer played it during a livestream near the launch of Downpour.
alright… where is the ps3 patch already… id like to start playing the game again.
Great news but I have a ps3 and still waiting.
Hope they don`t cancel it on the ps3 like they do with silent hill collection patch in the xbox 360
please please hurry up with playstation3 downpour patch i have bin waiting 7 months but it will be worth the wait if konami fix slow down and glitches
Well i might be wrong, but I thought the Loading Times have decreased, can someone confirm that?
Its such a shame Konami have not told us anything about the patch for ps3 they just expect us to mind read or something?
I expect to have to restart as I had several broken bugs from quests that didnt close off to the fast travel quest being completely broken, and frame rate that was getting progressively unplayable. Wil post here once I get some decent time behind it. I was loving this game until the stuttering and game breaking bugs appeared..
Patch seems to have fixed little, the fast travel quest is still bugged and frame rate glitches bad. I restarted the game and are already having frame rate issues. I didn’t realize restarting deletes any previous save, so not impressed at all with this patch.
I really love this game but in this present state it’s unplayable.
I got my patch and I still have frame rate problems.I don’t think they improved the frame issue. I got the 360 one
Homeless side quest fixed, but I think frame rate stuttering has got worse for me. Especially at St. Maria’s Monastery, it’s awful at times
I think this game is awesome but there are still some MAJOR issues.
