Full Silent Hill Downpour and HD Collection Achievement Lists

French Xbox achievement list site, Succesfull, has uploaded all the achievements in Silent Hill HD and Downpour. I didn’t look at Downpour’s list in fear of spoilers but I just want to point out that I love the Sailor Moon reference in Silent Hill 3’s “Princess Heart” costume achievement: “Where’s Luna?”

To me, the Downpour achievements aren’t very spoilery. There are several “Secret Achievements” there, which I think will probably be story-related and unlocked through natural progression. The others are for optional stuff, like side quests. It’s up to you if you want to look at them, of course. I just thought I’d let you know just in case.

Now the HD Collection achievements.. They’re perfect! Pretty much exactly what I wanted. It would have been nice if Silent Hill 3 had proper story progression achievements, but hey, they’ll be easy enough to get eventually. Do you know how to get the Extra Riddle difficulty in Silent Hill 2? Was it available in the original version (non-director’s cut)?

Oh, and thanks for the thanks, and no problem ^_^

Thankfully getting 10 stars is not an achievement. I never managed that on any SH game. Looks like 2 easy enough Platinum trophies, they should be split like MGS, for PS3 unless they add this one.

@merzitar to get Extra Riddle difficulty you need to finish all 3 riddle difficulties to unlock it.

Thanks! I thought that was how you got it, but I wasn’t sure. One more question; how do you get the Green Hyper Spray? Is it a different method than getting the ordinary one (yellow, is it?). It’s been so long since I played these games and I can’t be bothered to find my old official stratergy guide! lol

@merzitar Hyper Spray colours Lilac <16 stars White 16-79 Yellow 80-99 and 100 small stars aka 10 large stars for Green. I think I only ever managed White.

  5. Ross Ingram says:

@merzitar PS once you earn Green if you use it during a playthrough you lose stars because it’s a special weapon. Hyper Spray changes colours depending on stars at the end screen. So it’s impossible to keep Green unless you don’t use it making it pointless.

Thanks Ross, that certainly will be a challenge for me then… but I’m glad! I love achievements that require plenty of skill.
