Gamestop has revealed it’s Downpour pre-order bonus which is a code to get some in game weapons: a nail gun and a double axe.

Nail Gun: Building a house or killing some monsters? Nail guns provide more ammo in the clip than the normal gun, which makes you able to kill more monsters at one time!
Double Axe: Getting medieval with this very powerful melee weapon. It will come in handy during those battles with screaming monsters.
Online Customers: A code with instructions will be emailed to you within 2 business days after your order ships.
Store / In-Store Pickup Customers: A code with instructions will be printed on your receipt at time of purchase.
I got to say I’m very disappointed, I was hoping for a shirt or even a poster like the bonuses offered in Australia… heck even Mexico’s flashlight and mug with the usb stick with a making of Korn’s theme song would have been cooler in my book…but I’m a fan who likes physical items I can add to my collection. What do you guys think?

Yea, I want items I can touch. But those items are incentives for countries they are afraid they won’t sell as much in? So they give items to. They know we’ll eat them up like candy 🙁
AWESOME. I use the ax a lot -so that’s great and I CAN’T WAIT to get my hands on the nail gun.
I too tho wish I had the t-shirt-but I’ll just order one. Hopefully they will have some on the Silent Hill Site.

But the game has no inventory! what happens if you loose the special gun?
I’m hoping the UK gets the same bonuses as Australia. I really like that T-shirt, but I do also like in-game items. A special edition with all of them would be really nice.
Yeah i used to be a manager for gamecrazy in 2000-2002 and had the op to got to E3 the good ones with so many grab bags and silent hill 4 just hit and got so many things its crazy i have boxes of t’s and goodies! They stop doing it becuase employees where just keeping them and not giving them to the customers or customers would preorder the game and get the free swag and not pick up the game! But i would love to get that t-shirt and usb and mug and the DLC for SHD but its also a 100$ to buy the same 60$ game in the states is why they give free stuff in AU and Mexico but i’ll take 10$ off and a DLC! And the trend is collectors edition basically charging you for what they gave for free now you pay for it and there so generic you end up seeing the same over priced collectors editions on sale months later hince not a collectors item! I wish they would make a couple 1,000 collectors for silent hill downpour and make the diehards scramble! I love this site i am such a huge fan!
Wow what kind of goodies did they give away for Silent Hill 4 at E3? I’m really sad Downpour isn’t going to get a special edition. If any Silent Hill was going to get one I thought Downpour might because it’s been marketed more than the last 3 games. BTW thanks for checking out the site! Happy to know there are fans 🙂
