THIS TRAILER IS FAKE

Looks like the trailer Twin Perfect received from a fan attending Comic Con and uploaded the other day to their youtube channel is not a real Silent Hill HD collection trailer. I received an email this evening from Konami Public Relations which says that the cam trailer in question is “false content that is being portrayed as a real trailer distributed by Konami” and that no Silent Hill trailers were distributed during Comic Con 2011. So it looks like this was a fan made trailer using PC versions of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 with the HD Collection logo added at the end. I have to say this is very disappointing. 🙁

This footage comes from the folks over at Twin Perfect, who are responsible for the Real Silent Hill Experience! A fan attending Comic Con sent it to them 🙂 I hope Konami releases the trailer soon I would love to take a closer look!
