I love Silent Hill because…The Silent Hill series has always managed to push the envelope of interactive story telling. Moving beyond a simple kill-fest or collect-a-thon, it has helped to bridge the gap between video games and literature. The Silent Hill universe is populated with more than your cookie-cutter heroes; these are dynamic characters struggling as much against their actions and choices of the past with their actions in the present. These are always stories of the struggle for redemption . . . a redemption that is not always achieved.
