Yay a new blog post! This time Tomm dicusses the pacing and their choices behind the lack of combat of Silent Hill Shattered Memories.

Horror Movies and Pacing

Make sure to stop by the blog and let them know what you think. I’m getting excited the game is almost here 😀

  1. Wtf, he was experiencing jet-lag for 12 days? I think there’s something you are not telling us Tomm, you naughty boy… 😛 Other than that, it’s nice that they analyse some of the thoughts they had while making the game. I, also, want to say that I could object to him saying: “I’ve said it over and over by this point, but you shouldn’t look at this like we REMOVED anything. That would imply at some point Shattered Memories featured combat, and we took it out of the game.” Well, ok, SM didn’t have combat but other Sh games had and people say that comparing to the others and not about SM itself. Generally, I think we have understood their way of thinking and their goals and at least they’re certain and clear about them, so you can be more just when reviewing/critisizing/whatever.

  2. I’m quite excited/anxious/curious to see the game eventually, too. 🙂 10 days and counting… =]
