I had a pretty productive weekend 🙂 Finished recording and editing the hospital and mall levels of the LP (parts 21-30)…we are in the home stretch baby! I also added some new items to my collection website.

This is so awesome! MonkeyX from the Silent Hill Experienced Podcast gave me (Whitney) a shout out 🙂 He not only mentioned my Lets Play of SHSM (which btw I haven’t forgotten about it! I was just distracted last weekend watching a mini series I’m going to record the hospital and mall this weekend!) but also my Silent Hill collection videos! It was such a nice surprise! Totally made my day! If you haven’t heard his podcast make sure to check them out! They are one of my favorites. He has some nifty contests coming in the future and I’m really looking forward to seeing his own sh collection video.
In addition to my collection videos and this SHSM site I run a website dedicated to my ever growing Silent Hill collection. Last weekend I updated my navigation to include a SHSM section and I’m planning on adding in all the new items I’ve acquired over the last couple months. I’m also thinking of recording a new collection video but I’ll do that once I receive my UK and JP copies of SHSM!

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has today confirmed that Silent Hill: Shattered Memories will be available in Australian stores on April 22nd on Wii, PS2 and PSP.
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is a re-imagining of the original Silent Hill with all new twists. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories begins much like the beloved original. The game opens to the scene following a car accident where the central character, Harry Mason, wakes to find his daughter Cheryl missing. Harry sets out into the snowy streets of the haunted town of Silent Hill to find her, and that’s where his living nightmare begins as he not only discovers the truth about his daughter, but also about himself.
The Wii , PlayStation2 and PSP versions include an all-new user interface featuring a mobile phone which acts as a story telling device, map and camera as well as an all-new psych profiling system that plays upon the player’s innermost fears. The game constantly watches the player’s every move and adapts to their actions, offering a customised intense horror experience each time.
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is rated “M” and will be available in retail stores from April 22nd. The recommended retail price will be $69.95 for PlayStation2 and PSP and $79.95 for Wii
Wow that’s a hefty price to pay for a re-make of the original. Of course, that’s Aussie dollars.

If you live in Japan Silent Hill: Shattered Memories was released today for the Wii, PSP and PS2. Though I’m a little puzzled on why Famitsu rated the PSP version higher than the Wii ver!

New Let’s Play Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Videos! Over an hour of footage of me plowing through the Midwich High School level! Sorry about the long wait and my voice I was ill this past weekend and I was out of the state the previous week. I hope to have regular updates until completion every week…depends how long editing and playing takes! 🙂
Not quite sure when this happened but it looks like Japan has their Silent Hill Shattered Memories Mircrosite up in preparation for the upcoming March 25 release. I can’t read Japanese but from what I seen it’s similar to the US site in which the visitors are given a psych evaluation along with general game information and a trailer.

According to Amazon UK it looks like Europeans finally had their Silent Hill: Shattered Memories release on February 26! So how are you guys liking it? Was it worth the wait?
