In September 2009 Konami unveiled a production blog hosted by Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Producer Tomm Hulett which gave fans an insight into the game making process, their influences and a chance to leave comments for the game staff. Though shortly after the game’s US release the blog’s updates stalled.

On December 2nd, 2009 the Official US Silent Hill Shattered Memories micro website went live. The website contains a quick psych test for visitors to take. Depending on your answers the look of Cybil and other characters will change on the site.

1) Not answering, skipping the therapy or picking all three = Nice and professional looking Cybil

2) Liking Horror Movies and identifying with the color red = Sexy Cybil

3) Chasing down a robber = Hard Ass Cybil

Once the test is complete the mouse cursor becomes the flashlight beam in the town. Rolling over certain objects activates different sections of the site including: a couple short gameplay videos, game screenshots, a link to Konami’s official Silent Hill forum, character information, and the official blog.

If you leave the flashlight on too long a crowd of raw shocks will surround you and a video of an otherworld chase scene will play. This can be avoided if you quickly turn off the flashlight!

Shortly after the opening of the US Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Mircosite Konami Europe release a blog site on December 6, 2010 with the latest Silent Hill: Shattered Memories information, artwork and trailers.

Sometime in late February or the first week in March Japan opened their own Silent Hill Shattered Memories Micro website in preparation for the game’s March 25, 2010 release. I can’t read Japanese but from what I seen it’s similar to the US site in which the visitors are given a psych evaluation along with general game information, screens and a game trailer.
