Below is a complete list of all the places Harry visits during his scenario in the Play Novel.


Town

Silent Hill Street Corner

Harry spots Cheryl here immediately after his car accident and chases after her. Harry walks other Generic streets as well.

Dark Alley

A pitch black Alley Cheryl runs into. Harry is not only fenced in after entering but attacked by several Mumblers here as well.

Café 5 to 2

a retro café Harry wakes up in after his Mumbler attack in the Dark Alley. He meets Cybil here and picks up the red radio.

Outside Café 5 to 2

Harry sees Air Screamers in the sky here.

Alley

The alley Cheryl disappeared through sans Mumblers and in daylight. Harry finds Cheryl’s sketchbook and his first clue to Cheryl’s whereabouts here.

Church

A small Christian building. Long benches line the small walkway inside with an altar and a large cross with Christ mounted on the front wall. Harry comments that it look like time “had stopped for this familiar style church.” Christian church with a large cross mounted on the front wall. Long benchs line up on both sides of a small walkway. Harry is drawn to the church after hearing the church’s bells ring from inside the school. He meets Dahlia here and obtains the Drawbridge key and Flarous from her here.

Drawbridge Tower and Control Room

A small tower that raises and lowers the bridge to Silent Hill’s entertainment disctrict so boats can pass on the river by safely underneath.

Midwich school

School Entrance

Entrance to Midwich Elementary. Harry finds a school map here

Music Room

contains a grand piano with a large amount of blood on the keys.

Hallway, dark

Stairs (animated)

Lead to the School’s basement.

Boiler Room

Contains the the school’s boilers. Harry turns the boilers on to bring electricity back to the school. This also contains the novel’s first puzzle and Harry’s first glimpse of Alessa Gillespie at the end of the level.

Courtyard and Clocktower

A small courtyard in the middle of the school dotted with withered plants and a large clocktower. The clocktower is tall enough to reach the third floor of the school and has a door in the base big enough for an adult to enter while bent over. Inside there is an overpowering “loathsome stench,” ladder and small passageway. Walking through the clocktower brings Harry to the Alternate Midwich Elementary.

School hallway, light

After the Split Head battle Midwich’s halls fill with light. Harry can hear church bells in the distance.

Alternate Midwich school

The reality Harry enters after traveling through the school’s clocktower. Here the air is extremely warm and the stench of rotting meat hangs thickly through the air.

Alternate Courtyard

contains the school’s clocktower and has and “extremely religious-looking design has […] drawn in the center…Within a large double circle a triangle has been placed, and within that a strange pattern that looks like hieroglyphics [are] drawn.” Dahlia misinforms Harry that this symbol is the Seal of Sameal when in actuality it is the seal of Seal of Metatron.

Nightmare School Hallway

Midwich hallways that have metal grated floors, blood covered walls and corpse-like puppets suspended everywhere.

Teacher’s Room

A door Harry has to force open. Desks are strew about and a heavy stench permeates the room. Three blue telephones are found in here and Harry attempts to use one to call the police or his home. Calling home results in an unknown man gasping and hanging up followed by a busy signal. Calling the police results in only a busy signal. When Harry attempts to leave one of the phones rings with Cheryl on the other line begging Harry to help her and asking him where he is. After Cheryl’s plea the phone quickly goes to a busy signal.

Library

Contains a table with an open book. Harry can find the Children’s Book, Pharmaceutical Book, or Dictionary of Religious Science here.

Alternate Basement

After descending in an elevator at a high pace Harry finds himself here in a small room with a sconce and column set on fire. The room is very hot and humid and looks like the room was meant for prayer. In this room Harry fights the Split Head.

Alchemilla Hospital

Hospital Gate

Entrance to Alchemilla Hospital.

Reception Area

The first room Harry visits in the hospital. Various papers are neatly stacked on shelves and waiting benches line the back hall and face a small television.

Examination Room

A normal hospital room with various instruments and tools all about. Harry first meets and finds Michael Kaufmann here with a corpse of a freshly killed Air Screamer at his feet.

Meeting Room

A normal meeting room with a large table in the center. Harry notices something glittering on top and picks up a light green key here.

Kitchen

The food of patients is prepared here with various bronze cooking utensils on stainless steel countertops. At first Harry sees nothing of importance but finds and picks up an empty bottle or kitchen knife here.

Hospital Corridor

A hallway Harry passes through during his exploration of the hospital.

Director’s Office

A ransacked room with an overpowering stench inside. Behind the directors deck several bottles have been broken (by Dahlia) leaving red, blue and purple liquid on the floor. Harry can use the empty bottle found in the Kitchen to scoop up the red, blue or purple liquid. If Harry picks up the red liquid he has a chance to save Cybil in the Nightmare Amusement Park.

Dark hospital Floor

The hospital without electricity. Harry passes through here to reach the generator room.

Generator Room

Small room with a large machine labeled “Emergency Generator.” Harry turns this generator on to make the elevator operational

Elevator (floors 1-3)

With power to the elevator Harry attempts to explore the 2nd and 3rd floors of the hospital but only finds locked rooms.

Elevator (floors 1-4)

A mysterious 4th floor button appears in the elevator when Harry re-enters the elevator on the 3rd floor. Going to the 4th floor brings Harry to the Alternate Hospital.

Alternate Alchemilla Hospital

The reality Harry enters after taking the hospital elevator to the 4th floor.

Nightmare hospital corridor

The hospital hallways in the Alternate Hospital containing dark red rested walls and metal grated floors. Harry meets, kills and flees from puppet nurses in this area.

Hospital Storehouse Door with chain

The door to the hospital store room is locked tight with a chain. If only there was some way to break though?

Area outside hospital storehouse

Directly outside the chained Hospital storeroom lies a table with various beakers filled with chemicals and the second puzzle in the play novel. Completing the puzzle correctly allows Harry to make a chemical to dissolve the chains hold the Store room shut.

Hidden door in Storehouse

door found behind a cabinet in the hospital storehouse. Leads to Alessa’s secret hospital room.

Iron Gate

Found beyond the hidden storehouse door and covered in vines. Harry lifts and enters the gate to reach Alessa’s secret hospital room.

Alessa’s Hospital Room

Found in the basement of the hospital basement. Contains a medical bed, medical equipment and unlike other hospital rooms feels like someone was recently here. Harry picks up Alessa’s diary and photograph in this room.

Nightmare Examination Room

The nightmare version of the room you found Kaufmann in. Harry finds a very scared Lisa Garland in here and frequently meets her here after falling unconscious in several areas around Silent Hill.

Alternate Hospital basement

While attempting to reach the basement in search of Kaufman accompanied by Lisa they come upon a passageway with the seal of Seal of Metatron is inscribed everywhere. It also one of the areas Lisa meets her death.

Green Lion Antique Shop/ Other Church

Harry finds the door ominously open with a staircase leading down to the actual locked shop.

Inside the Antique Shop

A small antique shop that looks like it’s been ransacked by a thief. Harry finds Passage to the “other church” behind a bookshelf.

Passage entrance

A dark passage hidden behind a shelf in the antique shop. If Harry shoots first at Lisa lets Cybil go in first she dies and you find her corpse on the floor.

Other church

Room at the end of the dark hidden passage. The room is small and smells like something has been burned in the air. There’s an altar on the wall to the right and an axe hanging on a back wall. When Harry attempts to leave flames suddenly rise from the altar and he loses consciousness. If Harry reaches the room behind Cybil he finds her corpse and a large candle flames with green smoke billowing from it.

Alternate Town: Town Center Shopping mall

Town Center Shopping Mall

The building appears to be in ruins with many monsters roaming the darkness. Metal grating forms the floors and large monitors greet shoppers at the entrance. When Harry begins to head up the escalator Cheryl image and voice appears on the large monitors begging for help.

Shopping Mall 2nd Floor

Completely deserted and Harry can hear a liquid substance splashing in the distance. As he explores the floor a section of floor gives way and Harry falls into the Sandy Area on the 1st floor.

Shopping Mall 1st Floor

The first floor is made up of dilapidated department stores and metal gratings. Things are scattered through the floor and a giant spider web stretches throughout the area.

Sandy Area

There is a open area inside the 1st floor walled off by metal grating and filled with sand with a steel plate directly in the middle. The entire area is lit by incandescent light from above and Harry is able to enter through a circular hole cut in the grating. In this Sandy area Harry fights the Twinfeeler and finds the rifle on the ground

Alternate Town

Outside Alternate Hospital and Street

Outside the alternate hospital Harry climbs the building across the street with a water tower on the roof. The Float Stinger catches up with Harry here and they battle it out.

Lakeside Tourist Area

Lakeside Intersection (night)

The most popular part of Silent Hill the lakeside tourist spot. Harry gets here by passing through the sewers connects to the water supply installation near the elementary school.

Annie’s Bar

Lies on the road to the lake. Harry hears a struggle inside and saves Kaufmann from a mumbler.

Hotel Garage

Harry follows Kauffman here from Annie’s Bar. Ancient dust is everywhere and the room reeks of mildew. There’s a dirty metal shelf with oil, a sprayer and tires and a yellow motorcycle in the middle of the garage.

Alternate Lakeside Tourist Area

Another intersection shown of the lakeside district.

Small Boat

After the town turns into a nightmare Harry runs across a pier and into this small boat midway down the pier. Harry finds not only Cybil waiting but Dahlia comes by as well.

Lighthouse roof

A lighthouse off the pear. After Harry assends the spiral staircase he finds a large Seal of Metatron just completed on the floor with Alessa standing in the middle. When steps closer she jumps off the roof of the lighthouse.

Amusement Park

After visiting the lighthouse roof Harry looks for Cybil at the amusement park. Various attractions run constantly “as if they were broken toys.”

Merry-go-round

Unlike the other attractions the merry-go-round is eerily still. Harry finds a dark green liquid trail and follows it to the source, Cybil Bennett slumped in a wheelchair. Harry kills or saves the possessed Cybil by shooting her with the handgun or throwing the red Aglaophotis on her.

No where

Unknown Corridor

While running from Lisa Harry found himself in this unknown corridor and witnessed several ghostly flashback scenes here.

Nightmare hospital room with TV

Harry is somehow dropped into this room and is able to watch Lisa’s video on the television.

Alessa’s Hospital Room

Harry later finds himself back in Alessa’s hospital room

Child’s room

While in nowhere the room transforms into Alessa’s old bed room. Stuffed animals and art supplies are scattered about all over. Butterfly specimens hang on the wall and Harry finds a key to the final door here.

Final Door

Harry uses the key he found in the child’s bedroom to enter the final area.

Final Area

Last stage of the game where you confront Dahlia, Alessa and battle the incubus. After the battle the room in engulfed in flames and Harry is lucky to escape through a staircase portal generated by Alessa.
