If you want Harry to actually defeat the Split Head in the novel you must choose to find this in the library and have Harry recall the story during the fight.

A book found in the Alternate library in Midwich Elementary that describes the properties of White Claudia and a blurred page referring to a viscous liquid used in exorcisms. If you choose to find this book in the library Harry will be unable to fend off the Split Head and gets swallowed whole.

a mysterious ancient 4-sided triangular object that contains the overwhelming power of the gods. When held in the palm of his hand Harry has the sensation of an electrical current pulsing though his body. Dahlia Gillespie leaves this holy object in Harry’s possession after their initial meeting in the Church. Harry later uses it to subdue Alessa in the Nightmare Amusement Park.

Harry finds this on the Examination room floor in Alchemilla Hospital immediately after his initial meeting with Kaufmann. It reads: “Arrival tomorrow morning be prepared!” Most likely this is a note given to Kaufmann by Dahlia before the events of the game.

A sticky liquid spilled on the floor of the Director’s office in Alchemilla Hospital. Several shades are found on the floor: blue, red and purple but only the red works in an exorcism. Harry can use this liquid to save a possessed Cybil in the Nightmare Amusement park. Michael Kuafmann stashes a bottle of the stuff in a motorcycle gas tank and later throws it on Alessa to expel the god in the Nightmare Amusement Park.

A memo found outside the Storehouse Door of Alchemilla hospital that explains how to mix the chemicals to get through the door: “To create it you must come up with one deciliter of liquid and pour it into the test tube. No more or no less, that man had said.But there are no graduations on the beakers. This makes it impossible to come up with one deciliter using these three large beakers.”

Found outside the store room in Alchemilla Hospital. Harry uses 1 deciliter of this chemical to burn through the chain that locks the storeroom door.

A picture of Alessa with her name engraved along the bottom edge. If Harry picks it up he notices that “02/4Y DNA” is written on the back of the frame. Harry takes the picture with him before he leaves the secret room.
