The “Big Box” PC port of Silent Hill 2 which also includes the UFO ending and  the Born From a Wish scenario. You can also save at any time and play back cinematics in the “Movies Menu”. This “Big Box” version is considered rare since  around this time PC game boxes were transitioning to a smaller, standardized size so more of the “Small Box“versions were printed and out in the wild.

If you have the PC version I highly recommend installing the Enhanced Edition as well. It’s a collection of fan made unofficial mods that makes the PC version of Silent Hill 2 compatible with modern hardware and playable in a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, while improving visuals, audio, and bugs.

The Enhanced Edition allows the use of a widescreen camera; high definition resolutions; up-scaled fonts and 2D images; PlayStation 2 quality audio, fog, and shadows; restored post-processing effects; better controller support; and much more.
