Description
Sharon’s sketchbook Rose is seen flipping through at the Brahams Gas Station in the Silent Hill (2006) film. Sharon is seen later clutching the book before the car crash.
There’s 4 printed drawings inside while the rest of the sketchbook is blank. While not shown in the Gas Station scene the first image of flowers can be seen later torn out the the book when Rose is trapped in Silent Hill.
The original description from The Prop Store of London:
“Sharon Da Silva’s (Jodelle Ferland) hero drawing book used in the horror film Silent Hill. The book can be seen during the film when Rose (Radha Mitchell) and her adopted daughter Sharon make their way to Silent Hill in the car. Sharon’s original childlike drawings in the book are changed to macabre pictures without her knowing. Rose flicks through this book as she realises that something isn’t right. The ‘drawing block’ has only four pages used, the others are blank. The pictures themselves have been printed on the pages and are not original crayon drawings, this is so the crayon did not wear off during filming. Measures 33cm x 25cm ( 13” x 10”)”
I bought this prop off a fellow collector in Japan. It’s probably the most I’ve spent on a single item within my collection over the years. I’m estatic to own it as it is a prop you clearly seen within the film and I like having the film version of “Cheryl’s Drawing Block” from the first game.
