During an interview with GamingBolt about his work on the upcoming Xbox One exclusive D4 Swery mentioned that he’s also put some work into a Deadly Premonition sequel while setting up the framework for the Director’s Cut

Ravi Sinha: After Deadly Premonition, what various ideas did you eventually cycle through before settling on D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die?

SWERY: After producing Deadly Premonition, I started work on production of the Lord of Arcana series right away, and during that time I was already working on the planning and pre-production of D4. So you could say that I’ve been working on D4 for about the past 2~3 years or so. Looking back at the original plans, there are some parts which have changed greatly a lot, and some parts which haven’t changed a bit. At the same time I was also working on the sequel to Deadly Premonition and the framework for the Director’s Cut.

This isn’t an official announcement or anything mind you but the fact Swery has put some work into a sequel certainly has me excited! I will definitely keep my eyes and ears open…maybe there will be an announcement some time soon?

Deadly Premontion Cosplayers Needed!

September 23rd, 2013 | 10:11 am   By: Whitney

Have a Deadly Premonition cosplay? Going to Kumoricon 2014 in Vancouver, WA? Valkyrie542 is planning on setting up a Deadly Premonition themed photoshoot during the con!

I’m planning on cosplaying as Emily Wyatt from the video game Deadly Premonition (Red Seeds Profile in Japan). I’d really like to get together with some people who will cosplay as other characters from the game such as York, George, Thomas or anyone, really.

So, is anyone interested?

If you’re interested, you can comment on this thread or you can send me a PM and we can chat about plans privately.

Also, if you would like some help making props for your costume, I’d be happy to make some and bring them to the photoshoot – just ask!

If you are interested in participating drop by the Deadly Premonition Cosplay group thread on the Kumoricon forums and let Valkyrie542 know BEFORE August 2014!

No patch for Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut

July 6th, 2013 | 6:32 pm   By: Whitney

Well this is really disappointing according to a tweet from Rising Star Games, Access Games, Deadly Premonition Director’s Cut developers are not working on a patch despite complaints from the community.

I’m really disappointed I know there were a bunch of fans holding off from purchasing the Director’s Cut until the lag issues were fixed.
