Just wondering if any of you guys plan on being something from Deadly Premonition for Halloween?

Man, I was going to ask this too. Probably not- I think I stopped dressing up for Halloween four or five years ago- but if I was... Raincoat Killer all the way. Mainly because I don't look anything like the characters in the game and RK has a handy hood.

Maybe I'll carve a DP pumpkin, though.

I want to make a DP costume but then again I wouldn't know who I would dress up as. I'm way too short to be anyone. :?

Are you short enough to be one of the Ingram Twins? Or maybe Willie?? : :grouch:

I can't think of any other short characters...

Pfff maybe but it would be pretty weird dressing up as one Ingram Twin without the other by my side. Willie is a cute idea though....

Hnngh I hate being vertically challenged.

For some odd reason it's very difficult to find a reasonably priced long raincoat that's red online. I had an alternative thought to just purchase the classic polyester yellow raincoat and apply fabric paint but dyeing polyester material is such a complex process... (I got another suggestion from a friend who does cosplay and she said to use crayola fabric crayons instead but geez, the amount of red crayons I would need...)

Welp. There's always the option to put on a joker mask, bend over backwards and start walking...but the pain.

Holy crow, that sounds like hella work! Does she know someone who actually did that? On the other hand I bet it would give it that lovely mottled quality that the Raincoat Killer seems to have...

I have a bright red windbreaker jacket but it's not nearly long enough. Still, maybe I could be the R. Killer's protege or something. Like in the terrible sequel to American Psycho.

My friend herself actually! But only for adding details to small clothing accessories like gloves or scarves. I never mentioned that the polyester material would be a whole raincoat so that's probably why she suggested the crayola method in the first place.

I plan on experimenting with a small strip of yellow ribbon to see results before I commit myself to this idea any further. There's no chance getting one done in time for Halloween but there will always be conventions!

Speaking of, Happy Halloween everybody! I'm not doing anything (sick and studying) but I did leave a sign out in front of our candy bin that reads "satisfy a small amount of your hunger!" ....yeah >.>

Not for Halloween, but for Sakura Con 2011 and Penny Arcade Expo I'm working on a Michael Tillotson/Harry Stewart cosplay.

I'm going to be Michael, with a life-sized dummy of Mister Stewart I'll push around and speak for.

Yes, I know I am completely off my rocker, but I am IN THIS. Already bought a wheelchair at Goodwill.

That sounds incredible. Don't worry about looking insane: I already feel like I've done enough DP-related things to have me committed. Don't forget to send pictures! Maybe a sneak peek if you're finished before the cons? :P
