My favorite Boss battle was Thomas. I loved the music that played in the background and I love the way he attacks. A pity I have yet to actually fight him and have to live vicariously through those that have, but I feel out of the three, he is my favorite.

I liked facing off with Kaysen's first form. I think it's because his agility took me by surprise.

I think George's boss battle (despite my dislike of his final form, I thought it was very cheesy and overdone and didn't really fit with the game) was my favorite, for the simple fact that York seemed to have been saving all his one-liners just for that moment. XD

I agree with this. I loved all of York's one liners during this fight :)

My favorite one-liner was when George is all "BUT I AM IMMORTAL!!" or whatever and York says mildly, "No, you're a first-degree murderer... and I'm a Federal agent. George, of course you're going to lose." Ah, York, you are unflappable.

The thing about George's final form is that it kind of made his weird speech about Feng Shui and the waterfalls being "a place of power" make more sense. I think there were a few other references that hinted towards his obsession with Eastern spiritualism, but the fact that he turns into this white-haired anime-looking demon thing almost clicked. I think the design of it might have been to pander to Japanese audiences... but everything else is so geared towards some other sensibility that I'm not sure why they made him look like that. Despite the incongruity though, it's not often you see bad guys of that type writhing on the ground, moaning for mommy to forgive them. The contrast of that part kind of redeemed it for me.

As for my favorite BB... Thomas' was very cinematic, nicely lit and had great music. But I always liked the surreal desperation of Zach's face-off with the massive fat man who has a Dalmation stitched into the pocket of his overalls. The fact that there's a climactic boss battle at the end might be cliched in a way, but the fact that the boss goes from a slimy alien mutant BACK to his fat man form was awesome. The look on Zach's face when he transforms is really good too.

This is a really hard question actually, considering there are only 3 boss battles, and that they're all unique and different!
Thomas's boss battle was kinda shocking, because you never really expected him to be a bad guy. I for one always liked Thomas a lot, I thought he was really cute! And then suddenly he's yelling all those insulting things and trying to kill Emily, while still managing to sound a bit pitiful. I didn't want to kill him, just like Emily didn't either.
I also liked the setting a lot, even if it was a bit clishé. I just have a thing for clockworks, lol. I also liked playing as Emily.

George's fight I found quite amusing at first. My first thought most likely was "WHAT is he wearing?" and thinking how unoriginal the whole thing was. It was a very typical portrayal of someone who is despatare for power. The third form I laughed at, just like Whitney commented on her playthrough "Oh my god, he just went super-saiyan".
Sure, it was sad to see George of all people go all berserk like that, but it all seemed a bit lame. After the fight however the way he collapses and cries for mommy I just felt really bad. York's bad-assery made it all better again though.
After watching the game through a second time I was really upset and mad about George though. I trusted him, while he was just pretending to be a good guy. He just lied to everyone's faces without batting an eyelid. OH AND HIS AND YORK'S MAN-TO-MAN TALK, I can't believe it, I really adored that moment because it felt like finally George trusted us too, but damn. Ok, I'm getting side-tracked here.

Kaysen's fight! I liked how surreal the fight was, especially the part where you run down several flights of stairs and end up at the TOP of the clock-tower. Very dream-like. I also liked the last form hiding the doll and putting it in his pocket. It was something a lot of video-game bosses don't do, but isn't it only logical to hide your weak point! I also loved the fact that you were playing as Zach, because I love Zach. I felt like he sort of manned up and decided that he no longer needs a false personality to overcome his troubles, that he was strong enough to face Kaysen himself. Very nice. I liked that he didn't constantly deliver one-liners which I bet York would have done. It fit the mood, it made me feel like this is it, now or never. No room for failure.

Kaysen's boss fight is my favourite.

Note: I am judging this based on emotion over how the boss played. I am also biased because Thomas is my favourite character.

I have to say fighting Thomas was the hardest boss fight for me. I did not want to hurt him but he gave me no choice. It made me feel sad, and then when he attacked me a bitter determination of haveing to stop him.

It is the best fight for me because it made me feel the most emotion in the fight with George I was mostly confused and Kaysen was a close second. I wanted him dead sooo bad!

I agree! The whole three part sequence between Zach and Kayson was my favourite - even the waggle-your-joystick-and-kill-your-wrist-all-the-way-down-the-never-ending-staircase-whilst-doing-awkward-and-fast-QTEs part.

The revelation hit me something fierce and it was very, *very* weird diving instantly into a boss battle with someone you weren't even sure existed until a few moments ago; I'm a little ashamed to say I didn't even like Zach at first! (incredible, I know!)

For my money, yeah, the Kayson Battle(s) - even though Thomas's fight had some of the best music!
