Okay, questions I have about the demon dogs.

1. Can they be killed? The RPG, p'raps?
2. What happens if a dog attacks you while you're out of your car?

Maybe someone who has the game all set up can answer these questions, as I restarted my game file so my roomie could have a go.

1. Yes! Takes a lot of bullets. Best weapons are: grasscutter, RPG and assault rifle

2. Half of your health is lost and York falls down

Oh wow, that is amazing. I wasn't sure it was possible! I really must try to get those weapons someday... I actually thought the Grasscutter was some fancy Japanese sword but I was totally wrong. The truth is far more terrifying.

Oh, Whitney, how did you get this ending? I stopped watching it, I won't spoil, but I played twice the game, and now I'm in Chapter 4 in Hard mode, I've never get this end???

BTW, I have my answer for killing the demon dog... But I don't want to kill him, so...

You mean having the characters say a quote and give an item? That occurs when you leave Greenvale in the Epilogue after the credits instead of the last scene with York and the victims. For my let's play I beat the game over and over on the epilogue save to compiled all the possible quotes.
