Description: Don’t miss An Evening of Music from Dexter Composer Daniel Licht w/VERY Special Guests on Sunday, June 10. Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY. Doors open for drinks at 7pm, Showtime 8pm.

The night will be a celebration of the macabre when Daniel performs selections from his original music for Dexter using a musical palette of classical orchestrations combined with unusual sound elements. Daniel creates the score for Dexter by blending the sounds of wine glasses, duct tape, surgical tools, metal saws and scalpels with bone percussion instruments, world rhythm instruments and traditional instruments played in conventional and unconventional ways; all of these elements will be incorporated into the performance.

The concert will be introduced by award winning actor Michael C. Hall (Dexter). Also featured will be Dexter Main Title Composer Rolfe Kent with performances of his iconic main title theme and other scores. Other highlights include the premiere of Daniel’s music from the upcoming video game, “Silent Hill – Book of Memories,” performed by the Silent Hill series’ vocalist, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. The concert will also feature surprise guest performances.

Sound like a fun night!

Book of Memories Delayed Again? [Update]

Posted By: Whitney   May 14th, 2012 | 10:39 am

So word around the web is that Book of Memories is delay yet again. Still no word from Konami though I hope we will have some official word soon. I would like to point out however that Konami never officially said their would be a May release, it was only the retailers, the company officially only gave a vague Spring 2012 release on their site.

If this new delay rumor is true it is disappointing. I really hope we will get some sort of press release about the delay this time around from Konami. I’m all for delaying a game if it will make it better (lord knows HD Collection and Downpour needed more time for the technical issues!) just be sure to let the fans know! Is that so hard?

I guess if the Amazon estimated release of October 31 is to be believed they might actually try to market this with Silent Hill Revelation…haha what am I saying this is Konami and this isn’t Metal Gear Solid so fat chance of that happening…

[Update]

Konami has confirmed the delay.

Dear Silent Hill fans,

Due to unfortunate circumstances, the franchise’s debut on the PS Vita, Silent Hill: Book of Memories, has been delayed to October of this year. We deeply apologize for this delay and hope to further update you on the development soon. Thank you for your continued patience.

Book of Memories PAL Box Art?

Posted By: Whitney   March 10th, 2012 | 12:56 pm

Rely on Horror Facebook posted what seems to be the cover art for the PAL release of Book of Memories. It’s not up on Amazon.co.uk nor the Konami Europe website and it lacks any rating on it so I’m not sure how official this is.

Dreadcentral posted a press release from Konami regarding all the Silent Hill goodness coming next month and it confirmed that the HD Collection release has been delayed until March 20.

From the Press Release

KONAMI’s Silent Hill franchise has captivated fans for more than a decade selling over 6 Million copies worldwide. Silent Hill Highlights for March

The Book of Memories cover art features the cursed book and two shadowed hands reach out of the pages. It definitely fits the premise of the story and I think overall the cover looks nice though…I can’t call it one of my favorites. What do you guys think?
